The TRACTION team were delighted to host the Scenic Rim community at the new workshop established in July in facilities at Beaudesert State High School. The Community Information session provided the chance for people to see the new workshop and find out more about the TRACTION program and plans to establish the workshop as a hub to support young people in need.
Beaudesert State High School Principal Alan Smith welcomed special guests and Sandy and the team introduced the program and showed off the new workshop, fit out in July thanks to start up funding from Beaudesert State High School and the Harvest Point Church community. Special thanks also to Rod and Reuben from Rod Andersen Constructions who helped construct the new workshop.
TRACTION is seeking volunteers, private donations and corporate sponsorship to support the implementation of its programs in the Scenic Rim community. To find out how to get involved, please contact the team.
