Chain Reaction chooses TRACTION as a Queensland ride charity partner for 2021

We are delighted have been selected by the Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation as a beneficiary charity for the 2021 Queensland ride.

The Chain Reaction Challenge brings together likeminded people to support a great cause, creating long term corporate and personal connections, all while giving back to children in the community.

Established in 2007, Chain Reaction is registered charity that has raised nearly $30 million to support children in need. The events challenge senior business people to cycle a multi-day, long distance course and use their personal and corporate networks to raise significant funds for our major charity partners.

Sandy Murdoch, TRACTION Founder and CEO, will participate with 30 other cyclists in the 1,000km ride over 7 days in May.

“It is an honour for TRACTION to be selected as a charity partner for the 2021 Brisbane ride. The support of Chain Reaction provides the certainty to execute our growth plans and pursue opportunities. As a result, TRACTION will reach hundreds more young people over the next few years,” he said.

Chain Reaction will provide capital infrastructure that delivers a tangible and lasting difference. Funds raised will help tool up workshops, purchase vehicles, and expand into communities that desperately need support, including the Moreton Bay, Logan and Brisbane Southside regions.

“It’s critical we have a presence supporting at risk youth in these communities across Southeast Queensland, and the support from Chain Reaction couldn’t come at a better time,” Sandy said.
